Arrival in Moshi and Transfer to Hotel

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be welcomed by your Africantrust Safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. During the evening, you will meet your mountain guide for a detailed briefing about your upcoming Kilimanjaro climb. Your guide will check your trekking equipment, explain the route, discuss safety procedures, and prepare you for the adventure ahead. Day 2

Moshi to Marangu Gate – Trek to Mandara Hut

After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate where registration takes place before beginning your Kilimanjaro adventure. The trail gradually climbs through lush forest before reaching Mandara Hut, your first overnight stop. Enjoy dinner and rest as you prepare for the next stage of your climb. After arriving at Kibo Hut, you will rest, have an early dinner, and prepare for the final summit attempt. Your guide will provide instructions for the midnight departure toward Uhuru Peak. Day 5

Summit Uhuru Peak – Descend to Marangu Gate and Return to Moshi

Celebrate your achievement while enjoying incredible sunrise views from the summit before beginning the descent back to Kibo Hut for breakfast. Continue down through Horombo Hut and eventually to Marangu Gate. After completing park exit procedures, you will be transferred back to Moshi for a well-deserved rest and celebration.
